Campbell police investigating assault

CAMPBELL — Police are investigating after a woman reported her ex-boyfriend broke into her house and assaulted her.

A 35-year-old woman told police the man forced his way into the window of her Tremble Avenue home about 3:30 a.m. Friday. Officers photographed injuries to the woman’s facial area, a police report states. She declined an ambulance ride to a hospital for treatment.

As of 1:40 p.m., charges had not been filed against the man, a Campbell Municipal Court clerk said.
