Boardman officials to vote on property exchange Monday

BOARDMAN — Township and school officials will vote Monday on a proposed property exchange that would allow both entities to build new facilities.

The exchange, plans for which were publicly announced in April, will clear the way for the township to build a new fire station at the corner of Market Street and Stadium Drive, and for the school district to build a new bus garage off Tod Avenue.

Both the township board of trustees and the school board have regularly scheduled meetings Monday, and a final purchase agreement is on agendas for both meetings.
