BEAVER TOWNSHIP

The Raiders won the battle of two teams ranked in the Division III state poll. Brandon Youngs had two goals for the Raiders and became the all-time goal scorer in South Range history. He has 80 for his career. Mark Vennetti also scored for South Range while Scott Murray had the goal for Crestview.

Mineral Ridge 8, Jackson-Milton 0

MINERAL RIDGE

Trey Richards and T.J. Gaydosh each had two goals in a Ram blowout. Danny Linebaugh, Brooke Testa, Braedynn Porter and Malin Goemann also scored for Mineral Ridge (5-2). The Rams lead 6-0 after the first 45 minutes.

GIRLS SOCCER

Canfield 4, Poland 1

POLAND

Anita Mancini, Alana Petracci, Ashley Story and Hannah Stein all scored for the Cardinals (9-0-0, 4-0-0 AAC). Kat Partila scored for Poland. Canfield assists were made by Elizabeth Pilolli, Macey Malinky and Mancini.

Cardinal Mooney 6, Ursuline 5

YOUNGSTOWN

Elizabeth Philibin had three goals and two assists in Mooney’s win over the rival Irish. Ursuline was led by Taylor Tomlinson’s three goals. Breanna Evans, Grace Schaefer and Carolyn Kay each had a goal for the Cardinals. Jen Woodford had two goals for Ursuline.

Lakeview 6, Boardman 0

CORTLAND

Reagan Rosenberger scored a hat trick for the Bulldogs (5-2) while Rachel Braunegg scored twice and Maddy Clark added another. Miranda Meffe had five saves in the shutout. Rosenberger also had two assists in the win. JV: Lakeview, 6-2.

South Range 8, Crestview 4

EAST FAIRFIELD

Rachel Maynard and Casey Lindstrom each had four goals in the win. Kassity Miller, Ana McDevitt, Killian Beard and Kassie Seabolt all scored for Crestview. Hannah Ferenchak had three assists for the Raiders while Lindstrom assisted on two. South Range clinched at least a share of the ITCL championship.

Howland 3, Niles 2

NILES

Ashley Chambers, Na’pier Ramsey and Kaitlyn Chambers each scored for Howland (6-3-0) in a road win. Hannah Ward and Renee Messer both scored for the Red Dragons (4-2-2). JV: Howland, 2-0.

LEAVITTSBURG

Tiana Drake had 10 kills for the Vikings (5-7) while Haylie Kiser and Morgan Meyer each had 13 digs. Arianna Geordan had 21 assists as well. Moradore’s JV won in straight sets.

CONNEAUT

Jane Parry led the Red Dragons (6-6) with 27 points and 29 assists in a non-conference road win over the Spartans. Emma Dellinger had 25 digs, Kearra Taylor Hall had 10 kills and 1 block and Myah Busse added nine kills and 21 digs. JV: Conneaut, 25-26, 26-24.

Vernice Ormiston had nine kills to help West Branch (12-3, 5-2 NBC) to a straight-set win. Elise Wallace added 19 assists while Ormiston added three solo blocks in the defensive effort. JV: West Branch 19-25-31, Canton South 25-14-29.
