Fundraiser Friday for Sojourner House

Sojourner House Domestic Violence Program and The Center for Workforce Development are hosting a Chocolate, Wine, Dine and Groove fundraiser from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave.

The event will be catered by Ottavio of Station Square and will include seven appetizers. There also will be chocolate vendors with samples, including Landgraff Chocolate, Rulli Bros., One Hot Cookie, Kravitz Deli & Inspired Catering, Touch the Moon Candy Saloon, Just Pizzellas and Shellie’s Cookies.

Music will be provided by Backbeat. There will be a basket raffle, wine pull and a silent auction featuring chairs that have been painted by local artists, non-artists, groups and individuals as part of the Sojourner House’s Peace Chair Project.

Tickets are $45 and include unlimited appetizers, soft drinks, craft beers and a variety of wines. All proceeds benefit victims of domestic violence, those with disabilities and those who are socioeconomically disadvantaged.
