Katie Hawkins, Damien Beebout are engaged

Donald and Debbie Hawkins of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Katie Lynn Hawkins, and Damien Alan Beebout, both of Columbiana. His parents are Miki (Ian) Strange of Lakeland, Fla., and Murdock Beebout of Newell, W.Va.

Invitations will be issued for a 1:30 p.m. wedding Oct. 29 at St. Paul Church in Salem and a 6 p.m. reception at Mr. Anthony’s.

The future bride graduated from the University of Akron with a master’s degree. She is a teacher for Crestview Middle School in Columbiana. Mr. Beebout graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in science. He is a geologist for Tetra Tech in Canfield.
