Mascarellas mark 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Mascarella of Boardman marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Jamaica in April.

Their children are Ronald Mascarella and Dean Mascarella, both of Boardman, and Gina Falter of Austintown. The family is completed with six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The former Donna Zizzo and Mr. Mascarella were married Feb. 19, 1966, at St. Anthony Church in Youngstown.

The couple are members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica.

Mrs. Mascarella is a registered nurse. She retired from St. Elizabeth Health Center in 2007 where she worked 40 years in labor and delivery. She works part-time for Dr. Constantine G. Economus, and is a member of Youngstown Council of Catholic Nurses.

Mr. Mascarella retired in 2001 from Peskin Sign Co. as a sign electrician. He also worked for Hutz-Sign Co. as a foreman. He is a U.S. Army veteran.
