Kasich names Salem hospital CEO as newest YSU trustee

YOUNGSTOWN — Gov. John Kasich has appointed a physician who is the chief executive officer of Salem Regional Medical Center as the newest Youngstown State University trustee.

Dr. Anita Hackstedde of Columbiana also is a YSU alumna.

“This is my way of giving back to the university I love that allowed me to get to where I am,” she said.
