Trio indicted in South Side homicide

YOUNGSTOWN

A Mahoning County grand jury Thursday indicted three suspects in a Sept. 5 homicide on Belden Avenue.

Indicted on charges of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary with firearm and repeat violent offender specifications are Vincent Reber, 21, of Mathews Road in Boardman; his brother Derrick Reber, 19, of Sheridan Road; and Lorenzo Hilton, 26, of South Schenley Avenue.

The three are accused of killing Daniel Sanford, 28, who was found shot to death about 11:50 p.m. Sept. 5 inside a home on Belden Avenue.

Police said Hilton and Vincent Reber were wounded while trading gunfire with Sanford.

Derrick Reber drove them to a hospital in Warren, dropped them off then fled to Pittsburgh.

Warren police contacted Youngstown police, who questioned and charged Vincent Reber and Hilton earlier in the day.

Derrick Reber was arrested in Pittsburgh the next day. He awaits extradition back to Ohio.

The other two are in the Mahoning County jail on $1 million bond after their arraignments Monday in municipal court.

Marques White, 30, homeless, possession of heroin.

David R. Lisdell, 63, Kirk Road, Canfield and Jason C. Wilson, 34, Vasaser Avenue, Austintown, two counts of theft and four counts of receiving stolen property.

Jason R. Stiner, 32, Hopkins Road, receiving stolen property, identity fraud, misuse of credit cards and obstructing official business.

Samuel J. Strine, 30, Carlisle Avenue, grand theft.

Jason L. Womack, 31, North Portland Avenue, grand theft.

Richard A. Aandewiel, 31, East River Road, Newton Falls, aggravated possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Raymon Autry, 18, Bryson Street, possession of cocaine with a forfeiture specification, possession of marijuana and possession of drugs.

Daquan Henderson, 18, Kensington Avenue, possession of cocaine and carrying concealed weapons.

Christopher M. Royal, 25, St. Louis Avenue, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, two counts of possession of drugs and obstructing official business.

Shanetta Sly, 36, East Florida Avenue, possession of cocaine with a forfeiture specification, possession of marijuana and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Andrew Williams, 19, Redondo Road, possession of heroin with a forfeiture specification.
