Canfield trustees object to property annexation to city of Canfield

CANFIELD — Canfield Township trustees filed an objection to the Mahoning County commissioners on the petition the city of Canfield filed to annex a township property into the city.

According to a news release, annexing the 22-acre property on Palmyra Road, south of U.S. Route 224, will violate the Joint Economic Development District agreement between the two.
