Today, GM saves $5 million annually from using renewable energy, a number it anticipates will increase as more projects come online and the supply of renewable energy increases. In addition, the company anticipates costs to install and produce renewable energy will continue to decrease, resulting in more bottom-line returns.

Boko Haram video threatens to kill Nigeria’s president

US grand jury indicts teenager on terrorism charge

INDIANAPOLIS

A suburban Indianapolis teenager accused of trying to travel overseas to join the Islamic State militant group has been formally indicted.

A federal grand jury indicted Akram Musleh on Wednesday on a charge of providing material support to a terrorist organization. The Brownsburg man, who was 18 at the time of his June arrest, faces a Sept. 23 initial hearing.

FBI agents arrested Musleh as he tried to board a bus to New York. Prosecutors have said he planned to fly to Morocco and on to territory controlled by the Islamic State. A criminal complaint alleges Musleh intended to join the terror group.

In a statement, defense attorney Thomas Durkin said the case “will demonstrate the problems inherent in attempting to shoehorn foreign policy into the federal criminal justice system.”
