Gun, drugs found after pair arrested on Breaden Avenue


YOUNGSTOWN — Police found a loaded 9mm handgun at about 4:10 p.m. Wednesday at a 425 Breaden Ave. home.

Also found in the home was marijuana in the toilet and two ripped plastic bags next to the toilet with cocaine residue inside, reports said.

Taken into custody on charges of tampering with evidence, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of cocaine was Alex Mitchell, 29, who reports said list the home as his address.

Reports said Mitchell was found next to the toilet when police arrived.

Cited on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was Bruce Gordon, 64, of Youngstown.
