Port authority manager moves to Trumbull County Planning Commission

WARREN — Nicholas Coggins, who was hired as communication and project manager for the Western Reserve Port Authority last November, has left the port authority to take a position as planner with the Trumbull County Planning Commission.

Coggins replaces Anthony Kobak, whose last day at the planning commision was Sept. 1. Kobak left to pursue another career path, said Trish Nuskievicz, planning commission executive director.

Coggins, of Girard, who now earns $40,875, started at the planning commission Sept. 7. He will work on comprehensive plans for communities such as Warren, Hubbard Township and Girard, Nuskievicz said.
