Feds give Austintown more money for road repairs

AUSTINTOWN — The township will receive an extra $12,000 from the federal government to use toward road repairs.

Administrator Mike Dockry said after another political subdivision discovered it was not eligible to receive a $24,000 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development grant, Austintown was awarded half of the excess grant money.
