YOUNGSTOWN

Taylor Tomlinson led Ursuline with a hat-trick. Abby Price scored two goals and Adi Quattro had a goal with three assists. Kali Kerpelis dished out two assists. Yana Miller had the lone goal for Lake Ridge Academy. Jordyn Keneally made four saves for the Irish.

Springfield 6, Valley Christian 2

YOUNGSTOWN

The Tigers spotted the Eagles the opening two goals before Cierra Latronica scored two first-half goals to tie the game. Latronica added three more in the second half to finish with five goals while Jenna Hatton added one more. Logan Schnabl and Jordan Thomas each scored for Valley Christian.

Girard 6, Struthers 0

STRUTHERS

Maria Pizzulo had two goals to lead Girard in a blowout win. Malena Whitfield had a goal and two assists as well. Jules Singer, Kamlyn Valdez and Francesca Byrne each had a goal. Emily Marsico and Rachel Bendon each had assists. Hanna Jones had nine saves in the shutout.

Niles 1, Poland 0

POLAND

Hannah Ward scored the only goal off an assist from Kacie Cera to give Niles a conference win. Niles goalkeeper Alivia Whisler had nine saves in the shutout. Poland’s Rachel Pugh had six saves.

Howland 1, Warren Harding 0

HOWLAND

Na’Pier Ramsey’s goal in the second half gave the Tigers (3-2-0) the win. Harding (2-2-2) was outshot 12-2. Howland goalie Kamryn Buckley had two saves in the shutout while Harding’s Bella Van Kirk made 11 saves. JV: Howland 3, Harding 0.

Newton Falls 5, LaBrae 0

NEWTON FALLS

Makenna Williard, Hannah Harnichar, Jordyn Bryner, LeighAnn Knorzer and Tara Backhrems all scored in the win for the Tigers (4-4-0). Backhrems had two assists while Harnichar and Sidney Drake had one assist each. Newton Falls led LaBrae (4-2-1) 4-0 at halftime.

EAST FAIRFIELD

Matt Nery racked up four goals while Jeff Roberts had two in a blowout win for the Rebels (5-2-1). Luke Wickline, Mitch Lindsay, Matt Jennings and Cory Dewell also scored for Crestview. Lindsay had two assists in the win.

South Range 4, United 1

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Brandon Youngs netted two goals while Liam Abrigg and Mark Vennetti added goals of their own for the Raiders. Jonathan Logan scored for United. South Range outshot United 33-4.

YOUNGSTOWN

Jack Bentz and Joe Koewacich found the back of the net for the Irish. The assists came from Robert Graygo and Nic Beike. Bryce Blazic recorded two saves for Ursuline. Talon Basiewicz made five saves for Lake Ridge Academy.

Newbury 5, Lordstown 3

LORDSTOWN

Julian Surckla had four of the Black Knights’ five goals in a Northeastern Athletic Conference win over the host Red Devils (6-1). Matt Fink had Newbury’s other goal. Mario Puleti had two assists. Keeper Alex Piczer had eight saves for Newbury (5-1). Lordstown’s Michon Peterson had two goals and Garrett Behner added another. Collin Himes had 13 saves for the Red Devils.

Makayla Trebella had 12 kills while racking up 14 points in a straight-set win for Girard. Carlie Angelo added 10 kills and 12 digs. Gabby Miller had seven kills to lead Niles while Myah Busse had 10 digs. JV: Girard, 2-0.

Kaylin Burkey had nine kills with three aces to lead the Spartans (6-1, 3-1 AAC) while Ashley Clark added 15 assists and five aces. KeAsia Spikes led East (0-8, 0-4 AAC) with two kills, five blocks and an ace.

Maddie Krietzer led Sebring at the net with seven kills. Lisa Cathy dished out 13 assists and Kylie Shields had 17 digs.

Mineral Ridge’s Sabrina Stokes had six kills, 11 digs and an ace. Delaney Schumacher put up three aces, three digs and seven assists and a kill and Anna Bodo had nine digs, three blocks, two kills and an assist.

Emily DeGeorge led all players with 24 kills while Sarah DeGeorge added 12 more for Jefferson (7-1, 3-0 All-American Conference). Emily DeGeorge had 17 digs while Sarah DeGeorge had 13. Molly Barber had 39 assists. Faith Grant had 14 kills for Howland (5-5, 2-2) while Cassie Murcko had 13 kills.
