$1 million bond each on two homicide suspects

YOUNGSTOWN

Two suspects in the city's latest homicide are in the Mahoning County jail on $1 million bond each after their arraignments today in municipal court on aggravated murder charges.

The two were discharged from St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital over the weekend, where they were being treated for gunshot wounds following an exchange of gunfire police said killed Daniel Sanford, 28, about 11:50 p.m. Sept. 5 in an Elbern Avenue home.

A third suspect, Derrick Reber, 19, is in Pittsburgh awaiting extradition back to Mahoning County, where police said he fled to after Sanford was killed.
