College to host NeighborFood picnic

NEW WILMINGTON, PA.

Westminster College, 319 S. Market St., will host a NeighborFood Picnic from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the quad on campus.

“A shorter distance from farm to fork” is the focus for this event.

Sodexo is extending its commitment to locally sourced, fresh, clean foods with NeighborFood, and will serve grilled burgers, chicken, hot dogs, corn-on-the-cob, salads, fresh fruit and ice cream sandwiches.

Music, games and prizes will be available. Meal swipes will be accepted as a form of payment.

New Wilmington Fresh Marketplace also will be open. This farmer’s market features a wide variety of local fresh produce. Duff Dining Hall will be the rain location.
