Canfield Memory Walk: A Step Back in Time is a fundraising event for the non-profit Canfield Historical Society. The Memory Walk will guide visitors through Canfield’s past, from early pioneer days to the present era.
Many Canfield professionals and residents will portray historical persons and events such as Jacob Barnes, Elisha Whittlesey, Civil War Veterans, German immigrants and others. Even a re-enactment of an action packed bank robbery is being planned.
The event will take place on Sept. 24 and Oct. 8. Three tours each day beginning at 5 p.m. with the last tour departing at 6:15 p.m., rain or shine. The event will conclude with dinner at Piccadilly Parlour Victorian Tea Room.
Ticket price including dinner is $40 per couple or $25 individual. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Canfield Historical Society at 330-533-3458 or stopping by the Bond House any Saturday 1-4 p.m.
