Youngstown vice squad investigates drug activity on North and West sides


YOUNGSTOWN — Members of the police department's vice squad Wednesday served search warrants on the North and West sides investigating suspected drug activity.

About 5:30 p.m. at a home in the 2000 block of Elm Street, two syringes, a crack pipe, scale and security camera were found. Three people were cited on misdemeanor drug charges.

About 6:45 p.m., officers served a warrant at a North Osborn Avenue home. Inside the home, police found $965 cash, suspected heroin, suspected marijuana and two marijuana grinders.

Capricia Williams, 31, was arrested on felony drug charges after she drove away as police pulled up to the home. Inside the car police found a bag of suspected crack cocaine, reports said. She was charged for the drugs that were in the car and in the house.
