Logan was sentenced to pay fines and court costs as part of his plea agreement.
Police were called to the home about 6:50 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 700 block of Crandall Avenue on the North Side for a report of a shooting and found the victim bleeding heavily from a bullet wound to the leg.
Both men admitted arguing with each other before the shooting.
Both also appeared to be drunk, reports said. Logan originally was charged with felonious assault, but the charge was downgraded to a misdemeanor at his preliminary hearing Wednesday.
