Hollywood Gaming slot machine revenue up in August


AUSTINTOWN — Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course reported slot-machine revenue of $8.33 million in August, up from $8.28 million reported in August 2015.

During August 2016, the racino averaged 980 video lottery terminals, or slot machines, compared with 866 in August 2015.

The Ohio Lottery Commission’s recently released August report also shows $85.8 million credits played with $76.4 million credits won – a 90.29 percent payout – which equated to a win per day of $274.

The state’s seven racinos reported combined slot-machine revenue of $74.5 million in August, which compares with $71.8 million in slot machine revenue reported in August 2015.

The state’s four casinos reported August revenue of $62.7 million, which compares with $66.3 million in revenue reported in August 2015.
