Iesha Niciu made 22 kills and four blocks for Edgewood (6-1, 3-0 All-American Conference White). Abbey Bloshinsky scored 19 points with four aces and made 20 digs. Faythe Diemer made 32 assists. For Niles (3-2, 2-1), Gabby Miller made four kille while Emma Dellinger made 11 digs. Taylor Shaner scored seven points and Jane Parry made 13 assists. JV: Niles, 25-19, 22-25, 25-21.

NEWTON FALLS

Autumn Hutson set a new school record with 60 digs as Newton Falls (5-1) lost in five sets to Garfield. Izzy Kline added 19 kills and seven blocks in defeat. Statistics for Garfield were not provided.

BERLIN CENTER

Mariah Johnson made 12 kills and scored seven points for the Tigers. Sara Chaszeyka made 10 kills while Kaelen Yemma scored 13 points and made 31 assists. Makenzy Capouellez scored 10 points. JV: Springfield, 25-13, 27-25.

Dee Dixon had 18 digs, 13 kills, five blocks and two aces for the Clippers (5-2) while Alexis Cross added nine kills of her own. Brysten Trosky had 13 kills, five blocks and three aces for the Bulldogs (3-4). Jenn Rhodes added 14 digs in defeat.

NORTH JACKSON

Ashley Totani lead Jackson-Milton (3-2) with 10 points and five aces. Sierra Huff added eight kills and eight digs. Kirley Martin had 10 kills for Wellsville. Regan Pierson dished out 25 assists.

LEETONIA

Alyssa Anderson racked up 12 kills and four blocks and Alayah Chavers added nine kills and three blocks as Lowellville (1-4) won its first game of the season. Leetonia’s Kristy Eckman led her team at the net with six kills and seven blocks. Delaney Mellinger hd 10 assists, three aces and 13 digs. Caitlin Lewis dug 28 balls and scored nine points and eight aces for the Bears (1-5).

South Range 25-25-25, Mineral Ridge 14-20-15

MINERAL RIDGE

No stats were reported for South Range. Anna Bodo led the Rams with 11 kills, four blocks, an assist, seven digs and two aces. Delaney Schumacher had four digs, three aces, nine kills, two blocks and eight assists. Heaven Miller added 17 digs and two aces.

West Branch 25-22-25, Carrollton 14-19-14

Elise Wallace had 21 assist with nine digs and an ace. Whitney Wallace had 12 kills for West Branch. Sadie Green recorded 18 assists. Jaci Pridemore and Shelbee Stidom each had six kills for Carrollton.

Crestview’s Mitch Lindsay broke a stalemate with the go-ahead goal after a 45-minute rain delay in the second half. Ursuline’s Nick Broke and an unidentified Crestview player traded penalty kick goals in the first half. Crestview goalie Costen Santelmo made five saves while Ursuline’s Bryce Blazic made six.

Poland 5, Lakeside 0

POLAND

Matt Slepski scored two goals to lead the Bulldogs (2-1-1). Marcus Trevis scored a goal and made to assists. Trey Medvec and Reid McCreery scored the other goals and Ryan Weitzman and Noah Cartwright each had an assist. Goalkeeper Harrison Walkama made four saves.

Howland 7, Canfield 1

CANFIELD

David Schwartz scored four goals to lead the Tigers and Christopher Tvarock, Chris Nogay and Giuseppe Masumeci each found the net once. Goalkeeper Michael Schwartz made one save in the victory. Alec Simone scored Canfield’s lone goal off an assist from R.J. Thomas. Jad Jadallah made seven saves for Canfield.

Jake Stimson and Tyler Granz both scored a goal for Jefferson.

Maplewood 7, Bristol 1

MECCA

Tommy Rink led Maplewood with five goals to improve the Rockets’ record to 6-0. Thomas Dorsey and Michael Stamm scored a goal apiece. Evan Hunter, Matthew Palm and Nick Gaylog each provided an assist. Seth Spencer had four saves in goal. No stats were provided for Bristol.

ORWELL

Taylor Caraway had two goals and Alyssa Clason added another as the Mustangs earned a shutout over the Dragons. Emily D’Amico, Samantha Taylor and Sabrina Flacke assisted on the goals while Caitlyn Stafford had five saves in the shutout.

South Range 4, Southeast 1

RAVENNA

Casey Lindstrom had two goals and assisted on the other two scores at the Raiders (4-1-1) rolled to a road win. Rachel Maynard had a goal and an assist and Marie DePascale scored as well. Brittany Bolevich scored for Southeast off an assist from Andrea Radcliff.

Valley Christian 5, Maplewood 3

YOUNGSTOWN

Loan Schnabl scored four goals and Sadie Vogt added her first goal of the season for Valley Christian.
