TODAY

Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, Poland, will sell takeout-only cavatelli dinners with homemade sauce from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The meal includes two meatballs, tossed salad, bread and butter and dessert for $9. A smaller portion of cavatelli and one meatball will cost $5. Pasta fagioli will be sold for $6 a quart and sauce for $5 a quart. Place your order, remain in your car, and your dinner will be delivered to you.

THURSDAY

Aut Mori Grotto will host a Swiss steak dinner from noon until sold out at their Banquet Hall, 563 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. Takeout will be available. The menu comprises Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, salad, bread and butter, dessert and choice of coffee, iced tea or lemonade. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will host a dine-in or drive-through roasted chicken dinner from 2:30 to 7 p.m. Dinners will feature a half-chicken, choice of potato, vegetable, coleslaw, bread and butter. A children’s menu is available. Cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children. A family dinner option is available for $5 per person for a minimum of four people. Credit cards will be accepted.

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have its monthly drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie for $7. Drive up to the door, and someone will take the dinners to your car. Call 330-549-2588 to reserve your dinners. Leave your name, phone number, the number of dinners you want and approximate time you will arrive. A percentage of the profits is used for local mission projects.

Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, will host a drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Cost is $7, which includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Pepperoni rolls are available for $2. To reserve your dinner or rolls, call 330-792-5889 the day of the sale. Drive to the back of the church, and your order will be delivered to you.

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $8 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m., sponsored by the auxiliary. Prices are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. Meals include meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea.

FRIDAY

Canfield Lions Club will have a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Meals include a choice of baked or fried fish; french fries, macaroni and cheese, pirogi or haluski; and coleslaw, green beans, roll, dessert and beverage. The cost is $11. Carryout meals will be available.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.75. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

SATURDAY

Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will serve a chicken pie dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Menu consists of chicken pie, potato, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, bread, beverage and dessert. St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will host its second Saturday supper from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Takeouts are available. The menu comprises baked or fried fish, pirogi, parsley potatoes, green beans, applesauce, bread and butter, dessert and beverage. Adult meals cost $10; children under 12 eat for $5.

SUNDAY

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church hall. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children. All carryouts are $7.50; containers are 75 cents or provide your own. The seniors will have a basket raffle.

First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road, is taking orders for 15-inch homemade pepperoni rolls for $8 each, chicken noodle and potato soup for $5 a quart and $3 a pint, fresh-baked bread for $2 a large loaf and $1.50 a small loaf and homemade sticky buns for four for $2.50. Saxon Culture Group’s semiannual sausage sale will offer 3- and 5-pound packages of large links in mild, hot and Saxon-recipe garlic flavors and 5-pound packages of bulk in all flavors.
