Computer, phone, cash taken by home invaders

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a computer, iPhone and $500 cash were taken about 1:45 a.m. today by three men who forced their way into a home in the 1300 block of Scioto Avenue.

A man and woman there told police they were sleeping on a sofa when they were awakened by three men with hoods over their faces who demanded money.

After the men left one of them fired a shot, reports said. The three managed to get inside through an unlocked window, reports said.
