Man hospitalized after Struthers house fire

STRUTHERS

An ambulance transported a man to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital today after a fire damaged a home.

Officials with the Struthers, Lowellville and Campbell fire departments responded to the 200 block of Broad Street about 11:20 a.m. today. .

A representative from the Struthers Fire Department said investigators have not yet determined the cost of damage, but described the damage as “extensive.” The fire’s cause remains under investigation.

Officials declined to immediately release the name of the victim.
