Fair attendance hits six-year high

CANFIELD

Attendance at the Canfield Fair hit a six-year high this year, with 310,774 people attending over the six-day run.

That’s the highest attendance the fair has had since 2010, when 327,631 people visited the fair.

“We’re very pleased with the numbers. Considering the weather this summer, those numbers are really good,” fair manager Bev Fisher said.

Nice weather over the past week undoubtedly contributed to the large turnout.

Last year’s fair, which took place during a brutal heat wave, drew 282,386 visitors.
