2 revived Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN

Police said two people were revived with the anti-opiate antidote Narcan on Saturday at a fast-food restaurant.

Officers were called about 9:30 p.m. to a 601 E. Midlothian Blvd. restaurant for a report of a woman who was overdosing inside. As she was being treated, she said she was driving in a white Jeep.

When officers checked the Jeep in the parking lot, they found Joshua Brown, 27, of Slippery Rock, Pa., also suffering from an overdose. Both were revived with Narcan, reports said.

Brown was charged with possession of drug-abuse instruments after a needle and burnt spoon were found underneath him, reports said. He was issued a summons. The woman was not named in reports.
