Valley radiothon to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital

Fundraising activities are underway to benefit the eighth annual Miracles and Promises Radiothon for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 21 through 23. It will be broadcast live on Mix 98.9 and 570 WKBN from the hospital’s Beeghly campus, 8423 Market St.

Change Bandit program invites individuals, families, businesses, schools, and civic and community organizations to raise funds for the Radiothon. Interested participants will receive a kit with a fundraising guide and materials. Donations and Change Bandits will be recognized during the Radiothon. Funds raised will benefit children and families in the Mahoning Valley.
