YOUNGSTOWN

Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown hosted its annual Horticultural Show Aug. 20 at the Davis Education and Visitors Center of Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.

Following are this year’s exhibitors and winners:

Youth Best of Show: Julianna Ng, cherry tomatoes. She also entered ornamentals and marigolds.

Youth exhibitor: Kevin McHugh, potted plants, mimosa pudica.

Youth Sweepstakes winner: Julianna Ng.

Adult Best of Show: Robert Voland, six vegetables.

Adult exhibitors: Bruce Brungard, Sweet Pepper in ornamentals; Terry Voland, Blue Concord grapes in fruits; Rodney Toth, Moonsong marigold in annuals, ornamental grass in perennials, Hy Clown in dahlias, Sunshine calla lily in bulbs and tubers, and Crown of Thorns Red in hanging container; Mark Occionero, Butternut epicia in potted plants and succulent garden in succulents; Kevin A. Wegendt, pinus mugo in Bonsai; Dennis Dunleavy, Madagascar palm in cacti; and Dave Campana, Rose of Sharon in woody plants.

Heaviest tomato: Don Brown, 3 pounds and 13 ounces
