CANFIELD

Labor Day, the last day of the Canfield Fair, was met by sunshine and temperatures in the 80s.

The 170th Canfield Fair ended with a visit from a presidential nominee visit, a free concert and animal judging.

Thousands came out Monday to see Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump make an appearance.

In place of the canceled Ohio Statewide Championship Demolition Derby, The Willis Clan, a family of 12 children whose performances are a mix of the family’s Irish roots and other music, performed for free at the grandstand.

During the morning, harness racing, the annual rooster-crowing contest, the 4-H Saddle Horse Show and the Open Draft Horse Pig Iron Derby kept fair-goers busy.
