Youngstown City Schools' assistant superintendent submits resignation

YOUNGSTOWN

Milton Walters, the city school district’s assistant superintendent/human resources is resigning from his position, effective Oct. 31.

Walters who came to the district from Maryland, has been on the job since September 2015.

Krish Mohip, district chief executive officer, said Walters cited personal reasons when submitting his resignation Friday.

Walters will continue to work in the district through October.

He had applied for both the interim superintendent job last summer and for the CEO job.
