CANFIELD
Aug. 23
Warrant: Police arrested Christopher Flatt, 21, of Alliance on a Columbiana County warrant for failure to appear.
Aug. 26
Drug possession: Police arrested Steven Dutchnak, 28, of Helsey Fusselman Road, Southington, on charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
AUSTINTOWN
Aug. 22
Fraud: An account was compromised at a home in the 4000 block of Nottingham Avenue.
Theft: A purse was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: A driver’s license, Social Security card and cash were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: Six pairs of women’s sunglasses were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Fraud: Identity theft was reported at a home in the 1000 block of Victory Hill Lane.
Theft: Two bows, 18 arrows and a radio face plate were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Impersonating a police officer: Phone calls were made to a business by a person impersonating a police officer. The calls were made to Market Street Furniture, 1724 S. Raccoon Road.
Misuse of credit card: $110 was charged to an account of a person in a home in the 5000 block of Winthrop Drive.
Recovered property: A Social Security card was recovered at Cracker Barrel, 5600 Interstate Blvd.
Aug. 23
Warrant: Police arrested Taylor Duvall, 22, of Pasadena Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a petty theft charge.
Theft/recovered property: A Samsung Galaxy 6 smartphone was stolen from an apartment in the 30 block of DeHoff Drive. It was later recovered.
Theft: Money and a bracelet were stolen from a home in the 80 block of North Main Street.
Theft: There is a suspect in a theft at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Golf clubs were stolen from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 4908 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested David Rowbotham, 40, of Powers Way, Youngstown, on a warrant for receiving stolen property.
Theft: A dirt bike was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Black Oak Court.
Aug. 24
Theft: Police arrested Michael Rupe, 36, of Ravenna on a theft charge. Police accused him of taking a pack of socks valued at $8.48 from Walmart.
Sept. 25
Telecommunications harassment: There is a suspect in a case of telecommunications harassment at a home in the 200 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle had scratches on it at a home in the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.
Recovered property: An Ohio driver’s license was recovered at the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees,150 S. Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: There is a suspect in a theft at Walmart.
Recovered property: A ring was recovered at North Four Mile Run and County Line roads.
Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Taylor Fite, 23, of East Broadway Avenue, Girard, on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana.
Aug. 26
Drug offense: Police arrested Tashaunna Morshie Perkins, 31, of Gaither Avenue, Youngstown, on charges of possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia; Barbara Kosap, 55, of Annawan Lane, Boardman, on charges of possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia; and Shanika Simmons, 32, of Market Street, Youngstown, on a warrant for a probation violation.
Warrant: Police arrested Robert Floyd, 25, of 14th Street, Niles, on three warrants for theft.
Theft: Police arrested Amy Comstock, 42, of South Edgehill Avenue on a theft charge. Police accused her of taking a $116 Shark vacuum from Walmart.
Theft: A phone was stolen at Biotest, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Shoes were reported stolen from a home in the 60 block of Lexington Place.
Aug. 27
Criminal trespassing: Police issued a summons to Yusef El-Makdah, 21, of North Hartford Drive, Youngstown, on a charge of criminal trespassing at Wedgewood Coin Laundromat, 4286 New Road.
Theft: Twelve packs of steaks were stolen from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Two DVDs were stolen from Giant Eagle.
Theft: Groceries were stolen by a woman from Giant Eagle.
Drug offense: Police arrested Cameron Williams, 25, of Saratoga Avenue, Warren, on a summons for drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft: A bike was stolen at Dollar Tree, 4345 Kirk Road.
Aug. 28
Animal complaint: A complaint about a dog being neglected was made at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
