St. Patrick Church has bountiful corn crop

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR St. Patrick Church’s Community Garden on Oak Hill Avenue in Youngstown produced a large harvest this year with volunteers picking more than 249 dozen ears of sweet corn. A portion of the corn was sold to parishioners after Sunday services and the remainder was donated to charity organizations such as Dorothy Day House, Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, Our Community Kitchen and Beatitude House.
