Jubilee Christian Fellowship hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for its recently-completed facility on an 11-acre campus on Aug. 9.

Founded in 1994 by Pastor Jeffrey H. Mincher, Jubilee Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational Christian church teaching Bible principles. Jubilee offers ministry to people of all ages and backgrounds in the Mahoning Valley.

The new building features state-of-the-art technology in the sanctuary for praise and worship along with a nursery, children’s church, teen area, fellowship hall and kitchen and expansive athletic fields.

“We have waited 18 years for this,” said Grace Mincher, as she looked over the new sanctuary which holds up to 300 people.

As several parishioners gathered outside for the ribbon cutting, Mark Kholos, Regional Chamber account executive, welcomed them all to the special event.

“We appreciate the investment Jubilee Christian Fellowship in our community. Human hands built this church, but the hand of God is behind everything. This church was built on His time frame, not ours. We appreciate you being a part of the Chamber of Commerce and being out in the community,” Kholos said.

Pastor Mincher then performed the honors of cutting the ribbon, prompting a large round of applause and cheers from his parishioners.

Weekly services take place at 10 a.m. on Sundays, with Bible study at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. A dedication service for the new facility will take place in October.
