Mahoning County Grand Jury indicts 16
YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County Grand Jury Thursday indicted 16 people including Norman J. Hageman Jr., 62, Meadowbrook Avenue, Boardman, on felonious assault and domestic violence.
On July 22, reports say authorities assisted members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in arresting 62-year-old Norman J. Hageman Jr. at his Meadowbrook Avenue residence on one count each of felonious assault and domestic violence. An elderly family member alleged the Boardman man had pushed her down.

The grand jury also indicted Akeem Brown, 26, Shady Run Road, on being a felon in possession of a firearm, trafficking in marijuana with a forfeiture specification and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
On July 27, reports say officers found a .22-caliber handgun, a 30.06-rifle, $1,068 in cash, a large freezer bag of marijuana and smaller bags of marijuana, heroin and crack cocaine.
The man listed as the homeowner there, Brown, was arrested on charges of trafficking in drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The grand jury also indicted Raymond Sykes, 27, Miller Street, on possession of heroin and possession of marijuana.
