EXCLUSIVE | Biden says Trump will falter in Mahoning Valley

LORDSTOWN — In an exclusive interview today with The Vindicator, Vice President Joe Biden said despite Donald Trump's success in the Mahoning Valley during the Republican primary, he will struggle in the general election.

“I think we all have to do is ask a simple question: Do you honestly think Donald Trump is going to do anything to make sure your wages are increased?” he said. “A guy who says American workers make too much money. Do you honestly think Donald Trump is going to do anything to support your circumstance and education?”

When asked why Trump did so well in the primary, Biden said, “He had no opposition.” It was then pointed out to him that Ohio Gov. John Kasich won the state's primary.

“The answer is I, I, I have no idea, but my point is that people are beginning to know who Donald Trump is,” and that will hurt him in his election against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
