AUCTIONS

St. Rose Home and School Auction will take place at 6 p.m. Sunday in the school gymnasium, 61 E. Main St., Girard. It will feature a live, silent and basket auction. Tickets are $35 per person and includes dinner, an open bar and a bidder number. Other donations can be made or purchase tickets at the church rectory during regular hours. West Mahoning County Lions Club will host a quarter auction Saturday at Deerfield Town Hall, 1450 Cleveland-East Liverpool Road (state Route 14), Deerfield. Paddles are $5 each. A lunch counter and 50-50 raffle will be featured. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the auction begins at 7. Funds will be used to pay for a pilot dog. BAZAARS

Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will host a bazaar Saturday. Turkey dinner will be served from noon to 4 p.m. and all booths will open at 11 a.m. Dinner ticket sales begin at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for ages 11 and under. Takeouts will be available.

BINGO/CARD PARTIES

Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sponsor a luncheon, card and bingo social Sunday. Doors open at 11 a.m., lunch will be from noon to 12:45 p.m. and bingo starts at 1. There will be door prizes. Cost is $6, keep the ticket for admission. CRAFT SHOWS

The fifth annual Team Rae Craft Show will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Opera House, 152 Park Ave., Cortland. This year proceeds will help Hannah Tringhese, a 6-year-old from Struthers Elementary who has an inoperable brain tumor.

Altrusa Club of Warren is celebrating the anniversary of its 44th annual craft show. It will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Packard Music Hall on Mahoning Avenue in Warren. There will be crafts, baked goods, homemade candy, raffles and lunch available. All profits will benefit local charities.

American Association of University Women is sponsoring a craft and vendor show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2860 E. Market St., Warren. Admission is free and there will be a bake sale and lunch available. The cost to reserve an eight-foot table and two chairs is $25. Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for entire family from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. November specials are pull a ticket and get 25, 30 or 50 percent off entire purchase. Fur coats and holiday wear are 20 percent off.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will have a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 11 and 12. There will be miscellaneous items, clothing and books, a basket auction and mini bake sale. Nov. 12 all remaining items will be priced at half-off.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Mahoning Valley Historical Society is hosting a Christmas Marketplace from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., downtown Youngstown. The society is seeking holiday crafters, cookie bakers, candy makers and vendors. The show will be a combination of handmade artisan crafts and traditional cookie walk. Table spaces can be reserved for $25. Space is limited, vendors can print an application form at mahoninghistory.org or call the historical society at 330-743-2589.
