Lowellville Senior Citizens will have its monthly meeting at noon Friday at Lowellville City Hall conference room. Ernie Ciarniello will preside. A 50-50 raffle and bingo will follow the business meeting. The Christmas party will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 3 at Gianna’s Catering Hall. Mahoning Retired Teachers’ Association will meet Nov. 9 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. A social hour will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch at 11:45, followed by the meeting and program. Susan Harris will preside. The program will include Taps by Jim Ramsey and veteran’s recognition by Sgt. Mike Kubitza, commander of Canfield American Legion Post 177. Joyce Mistovich, scholarship chairman, will introduce and present scholarships to Youngstown State University school of education students.
