Chamber meeting targets trip to Cuba

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have an “Informational Tour Meeting” for Cuba at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 22 in the chamber conference room, 17th Floor, First National Bank Building, 1 W. Federal St.

The chamber has partnered with “To Cuba Now” for a customized trip and itinerary from Feb. 13-17 for chamber members.

Donates $15K to BWR

Home Savings Charitable Foundation recently donated $15,000 to Ballet Western Reserve.

Home Savings Charitable Foundation grant has enabled BWR to develop and implement a new broad-based marketing plan, including a complete overhaul of its website as well as an enhanced social media presence on multiple platforms.

Veterans event set

SHARON, PA.

The Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce will have its Veterans Breakfast Club Storytelling Event in partnership with the Veterans Breakfast Club of Pittsburgh from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Buhl Park Casino in Hermitage.

The free event will be moderated by Todd DePastino, author of the book “Bill Mauldin: A Life Up Front” and will include opportunities to share/hear stories of local veterans, visit tables with representatives from Mercer County and regional veterans organizations and enjoy a mini-breakfast buffet provided by Horne’s Homestyle Catering of Sharpsville.

‘Good Morning’ event

WARREN

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have a “Good Morning, Trumbull County” event from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Nov. 29 at Avalon Golf & Country Club, 1 American Way in Warren.

The chamber’s first countywide good morning breakfast will feature keynote remarks by U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Howland, D-13th, and other officials from Trumbull County.
