Mr., Mrs. Yukon celebrate 60th anniversary at surprise party

YOUNGSTOWN

Frank Jr. and Joanne Yukon of Youngstown celebrated their 60th anniversary with a surprise party Oct. 22 at their home hosted by their four sons.

Their sons are Frank III of Seattle, Wash., and Michael, David and Stephen, all of Youngstown. They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The former Joanne Dunnigan and Mr. Yukon were married Oct. 20, 1956, at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church. The couple are members of St. Anne Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church.

Mrs. Yukon was a secretary and bookkeeper for Sniderman Bros. and retired in 2013.

Mr. Yukon worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 43 years, retiring in 1997. He is a U.S. Army veteran who served in Nuremburg, Germany, and is a life-member of Disabled American Veterans.
