Gospel Skate planned

Second Baptist Church, 1510 Main Ave. S.W., will present Gospel Skate 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Halloween, at Champion Skate, 5040 Mahoning Ave.

This event will feature Gospel and Christian music and offer fun, safe and family friendly activities for all ages. Admission is free and skate rental is $3.

This year’s event is a “party with a purpose.” Attendees are asked to take a donation of $1 or more to support a mission trip to El Salvador in November sponsored by Teen Straight Talk. Their goal is to send 3,000 packets of dental supplies. Donations will help offset the cost of shipping.
