Flea Markets allows community members to showcase talents

The Youngest Flea hosted its monthly flea market next to the Covelli Center at Freeman Alley on Sept. 24.
The flea market is hosted once a month and local and regional vendors are welcomed to set up a station to sell their items. There are vendors who sell hand-made jewelry, candles, collectables, clothing and many more items. There are also food vendors who sell items they made locally.
The vendors are selected carefully to make sure they all have a true passion for what they make and what they sell to help invest in the growth of the Youngstown community. The flea market brings families together to shop, listen to music and enjoy food. People from all over the Mahoning Valley attend the flea market to see if they can find anything that catches their eye.
The Youngstown Flea creates opportunities for members of the community to showcase their talents and share them with others who may enjoy similar interests. Youngstown Flea also partners with different groups and organizations to help allow people of all ages, backgrounds and skill to support and be a part of the local community.
The next flea market will run from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Oct. 22 and will have a free yoga class at the beginning of the event.
