GROVE CITY, OHIO

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton urged Ohio backers of her mom, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, to push hard over the next dozen days that remain during the election campaign.

“There just is not a moment to waste between now and Election Day,” she told about 100 supporters near Columbus, who gathered at one of the three stops Clinton made in the state Wednesday. “We don’t want the polls to close on Nov. 8 thinking that we could have done more. We have to support my mom and Democrats up and down the ballot.”

Clinton’s Ohio stops came during the first week of extended early voting, with an extra hour on weekday evenings, plus 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Next week, absentee ballots can be cast in person from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 5 and 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 6.

The last chance to visit the early polls is Nov. 7 – the day before Election Day – from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Clinton’s visit was the latest in a continued stream of appearances by the presidential candidates and their surrogates.

Republican nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to make several stops around Ohio today, as is Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine.
