Circle of Serbian Sisters prepare to host Night in Belgrade

YOUNGSTOWN

The annual Night in Belgrade, hosted by the Circle of Serbian Sisters of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, will be Sunday at the Serbian Memorial Hall, 54 Laird Ave. A buffet dinner will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and will include roast chicken, roast pork, mashed potatoes, Serbian rice, green beans, salad, Serbian cakes and coffee.

Tickets for adults are $25 and $10 for children 6 to 12. Ages 5 and under eat free. Make reservations by calling 330-538-3031 or 330-799-7736.

Entertainment will include dinner music by the Night Owls Orchestra led by Jeff Mentzer. After dinner, local politicians will share their qualifications, and the highlight of the evening will be the performance of the Talija Art Company dance group from Belgrade, Serbia. This group has performed in Europe, South America, China and Japan. The group’s director is Dragan Pantelic, a renowned drummer and choreographer.
