SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR From left, are Martha Flint, Sandra Sarsany and Ann Miller, with artifacts from the women’s suffrage museum in the Harriet Taylor Upton House. On Election Day, Nov. 8, conversations with Harriet Taylor Upton will be featured from 2 to 7 p.m. Upton will be portrayed by an Upton board member. The event will take place in the house at 380 Mahoning Ave., downtown Warren. Conversations with the public were important to Harriet as she was a leading suffragette, fighting for women’s right to vote. Refreshments will be served. For information visit www.uptonhouse.org or call 330-395-1840. Private tours are available and the home is available to rent for small parties.
