Students from an estimated 90 local and regional schools took part in Sunday’s 16th annual Pink Ribbon Cheer Classic at Youngstown State University to raise money regarding this disease. The top five fundraisers during the two sessions:

MORNING

Boardman Little Spartans: $5,463.28

Struthers Little Wildcats: $1,400

Steel Valley Cheer Mini, Youth & Tiny: $1,225

Niles Little Red Dragons Squiggies: $525

Mohawk Pee Wee Cheerleaders: $497.19

AFTERNOON

Mohawk Junior High and High School: $5,160.50

Boardman High School freshmen, junior varsity and varsity: $3,053.10

Mathews High School, Vienna: $1,700

Campbell Memorial High School: $1,000

Western Reserve Middle School, junior varsity and varsity: $979.86
