New member receives gift

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR New members of the Salem Historical Society may choose between two gifts: a book, “The Salem Story Continues,” which was published in 2006 for Salem’s bicentennial, or a table runner commemorating the 150th anniversary of Salem Public Schools in 2003. Each item has a $20 value. Gary L. Franklin, one of the society’s new members, right, received the book from Joan Lora, membership chairman.
