‘Power Lunch’

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have a “Power Lunch” program at Carrabba’s, 1320 Boardman Poland Road, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 17.

The chamber event offers an opportunity to network with other chamber members and nonmembers. Guests order off the menu at their own cost.

Stage Door event

The Stage Door Academy of the Arts, Youngstown’s pre-professional school of the performing arts located at 721 Boardman Poland Road No. 100, invites community residents to celebrate with an evening of music and dinner Nov. 11.

The event will take place from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Stage Door.

It features a cocktail hour, dinner and a seven-piece band providing entertainment during dinner and for dancing after dinner.

Tickets are $125 per person, $200 per couple and $800 per table. The cost includes appetizers, dinner and an open bar. Order tickets online by visiting The Stage Door’s website.

‘Innovations’ event

WARREN

The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley will have its “Innovations” conference from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at The Avalon Inn – Grand Pavilion, 1 American Way.

This year, Innovations 2.0 will focus on building an overall healthier community.

A standard ticket costs $20. Additional registration from the same organization is $15.

Orientations planned

WARREN

The Raymond John Wean Foundation’s program Neighborhood SUCCESS will have seven orientations now to December for grant seekers looking to obtain grants of $500 to $5,000 for community endeavors.

Neighborhood SUCCESS supports grass-roots groups in the development and implementation of community development projects that enhance the quality of life in Warren and Youngstown.

Funded projects must align with the foundation’s priorities: community revitalization, economic opportunity, educational opportunity, including early childhood and public service leadership.

Grant seekers must attend an orientation to apply for funding.
