West Branch’s Grace Heath recorded 10 points, 15 digs, and an ace. Elise Wallace helped out with 30 assists, and Natalie Zuchowski added 14 kills as West Branch moves on in tournament play to play Northeastern Buckeye Conference rival Marlington on Wednesday at West Branch High School.

For the Bulldogs, Brysten Trosky made 10 kills and two blocks, and scored three points. Marlaina Frye contributed six points, seven kills,six assists and three blocks. Madyson Pickett made nine assists while Jenn Rhodes had 18 digs and eight points. South Range did not report stats. The Raiders advance to play United on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Southern 25-25-25, Leetonia 14-21-11

COLUMBIANA

Lizzie Willis had 14 kills for Southern in the straight-set win. Alivia Brothers added 18 digs in the win. Kristy Eckman had seven kills and two blocks for Leetonia while Caitlin Lewis contributed 18 digs. Southern moves on to play Rootstown on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Columbiana High School.

Wellsville 25-25-25, Lowellville 12-14-8

COLUMBIANA

Kiki Perry led all athletes with 11 kills while Kinley Martin added 10 kills and had three aces for Wellsville. Jessica Grow had 11 digs for Lowellville. Wellsville moves on to face Jackson-Milton Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Columbiana High School.

Western Reserve 25-25-25, Sebring 12-21-5

COLUMBIANA

Lainie Grope led the Blue Devils with 15 kills and 10 digs in a sectional win. Alexis Hughes added nine kills, 12 digs and five aces in the win. Maddy Krietzer had five kills and two aces for Sebring. Western Reserve moves on to play East Canton Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Columbiana High School.

Cara Higgins score the game-winner with 4:27 remaining in the first overtime. Skylar Bryant had the assist. Cassie Stitt scored the Spartans’ other goal in the second half. Isabella Alvarico made the assist. Goalkeeper Julia Yauger made 11 saves for the Spartans (4-12-1). For Lake (9-5-3), Anna Stevens scored the goal and goalkeeper Savannah Slider made nine saves. The Spartans advance to Thursday’s section final against Fitch in Austintown.

Southeast 2, South Range 0

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Ninth-seeded Southeast (13-3-1) took care of the sixth-seeded Raiders (12-3-2) in sectional play. Erin Fisher and Andrea Radcliff found the back of the net. South Range was unable to score despite earning 10 corner kicks.

HUBBARD

Marissa Grande scored four times for the Eagles, who now advance to play at Poland in a sectional final on Thursday at 7 p.m. Maria Atsas, Kyleigh Johnson, Emma Wukelich and Sydney Newell all scored for Hubbard.
