The Ohio Business Week Foundation recently elected William “BJ” Duckworth, an account manager II for Coca-Cola Refreshments in Youngstown, to its managing board of trustees.

The Ohio Business Week Foundation is a Columbus-based nonprofit organization that funds, organizes and implements Ohio Business Week, a weeklong summer business program hosted on a college campus.

North Coast Lift Truck Inc. of Mentor recently received a President’s Club Award from UniCarriers Americas Corp., UCA; formerly known as The Nissan Nine Awards.

The President’s Club Awards recognize the top 10 UCA dealers throughout the Americas.

North Coast Lift Truck has been a leading material handling equipment distributor for more than 35 years and provides service on all makes and models for customers in more than 24 counties of Northeastern Ohio.

ENTREPRENEUR award

The Thiel College Haller Enterprise Institute recently announced Carol Stamm, class of 1971, and Dr. Barry Stamm, class of 1970, founders of Stamm Cataract and Laser Surgery, as the 2016 Haller Enterprise Institute Entrepreneurs of the Year.

The Haller Enterprise Institute encourages motivated students from any major to begin their own business while they continue their education.
