Cancer fundraiser at Kennsington

On Saturday, Kennsington Golf Club will team up with the American Cancer Society to raise funds for cancer research.
For the event, dubbed Paint the Course Purple, the golf course will be decorated with purple ribbons and employees and patrons will be encouraged to wear purple for the cause.
Paint the Course Purple will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the golf club, 4171 Westford Place, off U.S. Route 224. There will be a raffle and a Stay and Play package giveaway, which includes one-night stay at the new Courtyard by Marriott Youngstown-Canfield, plus 18 holes of golf at Kennsington. A portion of the proceeds from the golf rounds also will be donated by the club to the ACS.

Kids halloween event at Parto’s
